Bryan Haynes

For over 34 years, my practice has primarily focused on complex commercial and intellectual property litigation. My commercial litigation experience has included business divorces, real estate issues, commercial lease disputes, director and officer litigation, tortious interference and other business tort claims, non-compete and non-solicitation matters, insurance coverage disputes, commercial and residential construction matters, and other complex and ordinary contract issues. My intellectual property experience has focused on trademark and trade secret litigation, as well as helping clients protect these valuable assets. My practice has never focused on one side or the other of the "v," and instead has been almost evenly split between prosecuting and defending against claims of all natures.

My diverse practice has allowed me to try almost 60 bench and jury trials and final arbitration hearings. I have handled an unknown number of evidentiary hearings, including prosecuting and defending dozens of temporary restraining order and preliminary injunction hearings, and pursuing and defending numerous dispositive motions. And I have represented clients in almost a thousand mediations and other settlement negotiations.

In early 2021, I obtained my Mediator's Certificate and have since used my substantial litigation experience to help resolve numerous disputes of others. I also act as an arbitrator, primarily within my practice areas, including as a certified arbitrator with a Federal regulatory authority.

My ability to comprehend complex legal and factual issues, as well as my strong work ethic, is reflected in my extensive, successful experience. I am a very lighthearted and friendly individual, and my mediation style is characterized by active listening, directness when and with whom needed, and creativity. I will know as much about your case when the mediation starts as is readily available to me.
